We celebrated our 10th Year Anniversary on July 4, 2024 as The Nation's first black iron gym.

Poe’s Gym offers a safe place for any level of fitness enthusiast. Although our logo yells powerlifting, we are the furthest from a powerlifting gym. The more of a beginner you are within any form of resistance training, we have a great environment for you. If you are advanced, we have all the tools to bring you to a more advanced level. If you are 50 and over and not at Poe’s Gym, get over here!!

We are a gym for everyone who wants a space where everyone knows each other’s name. Fellow members display a level of respect that other members deserve for their particular reason for joining Poe’s Gym. Our members do not use the gym as a social media platform. Our gym is a group of highly motivated individuals who can work out alone or be a part of a multi-member atmosphere.

Women are highly regarded and well respected at Poe’s Gym. Women always have the right of way at Poe’s Gym. If you are a female and need a safe place to lift weights and or learn about fitness, we encourage you to reach out to us.

Our medical aspect is second to none supplying a range of services and years of experience from an array of Nashville’s best personnel. 

Run Rate – We run 60-100 people through Poe’s Gym a day.

Hourly Rate – We have 1-5 people in the gym on the hour with peak hours of 12-15 people in the gym.

Wait Time – We have zero wait time 99% of the time on equipment availability.

Open – Members have 24/7 access to the gym. Hard closes will occur during certain holidays.

Cleanliness – We pride ourselves on a clean gym. Everyone mops the floors and sprays their equipment.

Burn Rate – Our average member stays at Poe’s Gym for 3 years plus.
